Step 9
Createx Phthalo Blue is used in this step. The idea is to enhance to Florescent Blue airbrushed previously, to add a little more color to the design and to mute the browns to make a more greyed out looking wood and rocks. The shadows of the outhouse are becoming more pronounced. The clouds are given more definition and form. Blue is lightly airbrushed on to the daisies at the shadowy edge where the petals join the calyx away from the light source and at the tips of the petals woth the blue being slightly more intense at the petal tips facing away feom the light source. No color in nature is pure white. ading a tint of oa color makes white look more real to life. The white we see is a reflection of all colors around it. Always keep in mind where your shadows and highlights are. If you have trouble trying to figure out where a shadow or highlight needs to be, lay an imaginary line with your finger coming from your light source to the object. Imagine that object as being real. Imagine where and how the light will hit the object.
